Thai Thai @ Sunway Pyramid

Today is a special day,
as it is the anniversary of the fat bears (Bearniversary).
The far bears completely forgotten about it until late afternoon,
when White Bear sensed that there was something not quite right.

So as soon as they finished their day work,
they rush off to find a special restaurant to celebrate.
Then they bumped into the magical Thai Thai, Sawadeeka…

The fat bears ordered these:

Tom Yam Prawn Bowl (RM16)
Verdict : 2 big prawns in a very delicious TomYam soup,
sour and spicy, a bit sweet, though Brown Bear choked
when he was savouring the soup, he found the taste too heavy

Pineapple Prawn Fried Rice (RM17.90)
Verdict : Rice was really fried with fine pineapple shreds.
Taste nice but not memorable enough. Brown Bear loved it.

Stir fried Cashew with Chicken (RM17.90)
Verdict : Taste was just right, a bit spicy, with lots of cashew,
green pepper, mushrooms and onions.

Phad Thai (RM17.90)
Verdict : White Bear’s favourite!
Fried flat noodles (kuey teow), mix it with the vege and spices given,
and the taste was heavenly.

The drinks were pricey so the fat bears ordered a bottle of mineral water,
less than 300ml costs RM3, T.T

However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice,
especially the small corner the fat bears was given,
darkly romantic, xoxo, aiyooooo so sweet…

The bill was a whopping… just kidding, RM70 included tax
after a 15% discount from CIMB credit card.

The fat bears loved the Bearniversary dinner, aroy….!

Ichiban Ramen @ Sunway Pyramid

On a lazy Sunday (3rd June 2012), the fat bears went to Sunway Pyramid to have a look.
It has been a year since the bears were last spotted in Sunway, wandering around.
As always, Brown Bear got hungry, and White Bear was obligated to hunt food with him.

So they finally decided on Ichiban Ramen,
because ramen was the favourite food of the Brown Bear.

Kimchi Chicken Ramen
Verdict : Nice, both bears loved it

Chicken Teriyaki Don
Verdict : Many chicken, worth it

The bill was around Rm 30, r’Amen!

After that, the bears went to stalk the ice skaters, admiring their slender bodies gliding on the ice.
They did not join in because being fat bears, there would only be two outcomes,
a) they would fall every step they make on the ice, and
b) they would scare off all the graceful ice skaters.

So after a small walk around Sunway, the bears went home, feeling hungry again, as usual.
