Kampung Lobak Thai Seafood and BBQ Seremban

White Bear has never been to Seremban town,
albeit passing by Seremban countless times on the highway.
So this particular day (26th May 2012), Brown Bear
took White Bear out to Seremban to see see look look.

The fat bears first bought some Siew Pau at the Asia Siew Pau.
Both bears took one bite and forgot everything about taking pictures…
And yes… it was really good, hot and fresh from the oven, yummy!

Following that, the fat bears found themselves in a dilemma as it was not
until dinner time and they have got nothing better to do.
So as a loyal Jusco customer, White Bear suggested to go for a walk in Jusco Seremban 2.
And so they went, spent some time there and headed off for dinner.

And they found Kampung Lobak Thai Seafood and BBQ (located just next to Petronas)
The fat bears ordered…

Kampung Lobak Tom Yam Seafood
Verdict : Different with normal Tom Yam, really mouth watering with its sour and spicy soup.
Brown Bear loved it soooo much!

Grilled Pari (stingray) with lobak sauce
Verdict : Big piece of pari with spicy sauce, another mouth watering dish
White Bear couldn’t stop eating!

Kangkung Belacan
Verdict : Nice portion, good taste.

The fat bears ate and sweat, they got so full they got difficulty breathing.
The bill was around RM60, the seafood there was a bit pricey.
But both bears agreed that, this was one of the most memorable dinner they ever had,
definitely will be back again!

    • Lobak in English means turnip. Perhaps the “Lobak” sauce is derived from the area name, Kampung Lobak, which means Lobak Village, though there was no turnip patch in sight,
